Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and other business development strategies.
2. Work with cross-functional teams to develop proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs.
3. Lead the bidding process from initial opportunity identification to contract negotiation and closing.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
5. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
6. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies.
7. Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in business development and bidding, preferably in the IT industry.
3. Proven track record of generating new business and securing contracts through bidding.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
7. Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

1. Barrackpore, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
