Full job description:

We are seeking a Social Media and Design Intern to support our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, design and digital marketing. This role will involve creating engaging visual content, managing social media accounts and handling email communication.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:
2. – Design eye-catching graphics and videos using Canva and Filmora.
3. – Develop visually appealing posts tailored for different social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
4. Social Media Management:
5. – Schedule and publish posts on various social media platforms.
6. – Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
7. – Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
8. – Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
9. Email Communication:
10. – Draft, format and send professional emails for marketing campaigns, newsletters and client communication.
11. – Maintain and update the email database.
12. – Assist in the development and implementation of email marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Current enrollment in a related Bachelor’s degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design) or recent graduate.
2. Proficiency in Canva and Filmora or similar design and video editing tools.
3. Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices
4.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5.  Basic understanding of email marketing tools and strategies.
6. Creative mindset with attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8.  Strong organizational and time-management skills.
